Horseback Riding

HorsHorseback riding offers a powerful and enriching experience for individuals who are blind or visually impaired. From handling tack and saddles to riding, brushing, and simply spending time with the horse, each interaction provides meaningful sensory feedback. The rhythm of movement, the feel of the reins, and the bond formed between horse and rider create both confidence and independence. Beyond the physical experience, the connection between person and horse is deeply therapeutic, fostering trust, peace, and emotional growth.

Fishing

For many, being on or in the water has a way of healing the soul. That has certainly been the case for Tristan, and we hope it will be true for everyone who joins us on a fishing trip. Fishing offers rich sensory experiences — the sound of moving water, the feel of the current, the tension on the line, and the excitement of the catch — making it an ideal activity for individuals who are blind or visually impaired. Beyond the sport itself, time on the water brings peace, confidence, and connection.

Hunting

While we understand that hunting isn’t for everyone, it can offer the ultimate challenge for individuals who are blind or visually impaired. Tristan’s passion for hunting has taken him from the plains of Africa to the peaks of the Rocky Mountains. For those seeking adventure and a meaningful test of skill, we are committed to helping you pursue your dream of harvesting an animal in an ethical and sustainable manner.

Construction

Construction may not be the first activity that comes to mind for someone who is blind or visually impaired, but it can be incredibly rewarding. There are many tasks on a job site that can be performed safely and effectively with proper guidance and teamwork. Like all of our activities, safety is our top priority. With the right support and preparation, construction work can build not only structures, but confidence, skill, and independence.
